Far Cry 6 roadmap: Rambo, Stranger Things, Villain DLC, more

Lots coming!

The Far Cry 6 roadmap was recently unveiled by Ubisoft and includes a host of free and paid content.

We’ll break down what’s to come in terms of just that: what you’ll get for free, and what you’ll get via the paid Season Pass.

Far Cry 6 roadmap: Free content

  • Weekly insurgencies: Each week from launch
  • Special Operations: Including Cocodrilo, Los Tres Santos, Puerta Del Eden and Malagua (October & November 2021)
  • Danny Trejo crossover mission: December 2021
  • Rambo crossover mission: February 2021
  • Stranger Things crossover mission: March 2022

Far Cry 6 roadmap: Paid content (Season Pass)

  • Blood Dragon set (in-game items): At launch
    • One outfit, two weapons, one vehicle, one weapon charm. one Fang for Hire, one vehicle Chibi
  • Villain DLC 1 (Vaas: Insanity): November 2021
  • Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon full game: December 2021
  • Villain DLC 2 (Pagan Min: Control): January 2022
  • Villain DLC 3 (Joseph Seed: Collapse): March 2022

There’s a lot to unpack above. First, we’re getting free crossover missions with the iconic Danny Trejo (Danny & Dani vs Everybody) alongside one with Rambo and another with Stranger Things. We couldn’t have dreamed up those combinations if we tried. Next, the Far Cry 6 Villain DLC announced back in June will kick off in November with Far Cry 3‘s Vaas. We’ll certainly have lots to do, eh?

Far Cry 6 heads to Windows PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, PS4, PS5 and Stadia on 7 October. We recently went hands-on with the game here.
