The Falcon’s legacy to be squashed by Marvel; he’ll be Captain America now!

Well, this only backs up the opinion piece on a female Thor we’ve just published.

A day after announcing Thor is to become a woman, Marvel announced that Captain America will soon be a black man.

Sam Wilson, aka The Falcon, a long-standing Marvel hero, will retire his persona to become Captain America in the near future, Marvel said.

This simply leads us to question why Marvel would cease strong The Falcon character — one who made it into the recent Captain America movie sequel — in place of Sam as Captain America. Oh, wait. Yeah. Money.

What do you think of this new announcement?

No word on how it affects Disney Infinity 2.0. Video games. Yada yada.
