Everspace heads to Xbox One Game Preview Program; soon to Windows PC

Microsoft and Rockfish Games recently took to Xbox Wire to announce that Everspace is now available on the Xbox One Game Preview Program, and will soon be available on Windows 10 as well.

The title will support Xbox Play Anywhere, meaning you’ll be able to access cross-saves across Xbox One and Windows PC with one purchase.

“We were excited to be able to showcase Everspace at a variety of events over the past year – from E3 to Gamescom,” said Chris Charla, Director of ID@Xbox at Microsoft. “It got great player response every time. We’re super excited that it’s coming to Windows 10 and Xbox One via game preview, and it’s awesome to have it as the debut Xbox Play Anywhere game in the ID@Xbox program.”

“Thanks to our friends at ID@Xbox, we had the fantastic opportunity to demo Everspace to Xbox and Windows 10 gamers at pretty much every major games show since GDC earlier this year,” says Michael Schade, CEO and co-founder of Rockfish Games. “We cannot wait to launch our very first console game ever on Xbox One and offer players the ability to play on both Xbox One and Windows 10 via Xbox Play Anywhere.”

Everspace is available now on Xbox One, and is expected “in the next few weeks” on Windows 10. It’s expected as a full release in early 2017.
