Overwatch’s Open Division pits Master-ranked players against each other

Blizzard today detailed the Overwatch Open Division, a new space that’ll help amateur players reach professional Esports levels.

Those who ranked Master rank or higher in Overwatch‘s fourth competitive season — which ran between 1 March and 29 May — are eligible for the new league. The competition is split into the following regions:

  • Australia and New Zealand
  • Western Europe
  • Eastern Europe
  • North America
  • Latin American (and Spanish Speaking Countries)
  • Brazil
  • Southeast Asia

If you meet the criteria, you’re able to sign up for the first season now; action begins on 4 July.

Overwatch is currently in its fifth competitive season on Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4.
