Gfinity Elite Series Australia Season 2 kicks off in November

Gfinity Elite Series Australia Season 2 has been confirmed and will kick off in early November, Gfinity today announced.

Starting 3 November, the competition will culminate in a grand final that will take place over 15-16 December. All six clubs — Perth Ground Zero, Sydney Roar, Brisbane Deceptors, Melbourne Order, Melbourne Avant and Sydney Chiefs — will return for Season 2. Just like Season 1, tournaments will be held for Rocket League, Street Fighter V and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive; the Melbourne Order will be looking to reclaim all three championships.

“Melbourne Order’s dominant victory last season has set the tone for Season 2”, said Gfinity Australia CEO, Dominic Remond. “We expect to see old rivalries reignited, Melbourne Order have a target on their back, and with roster changes across the clubs, fans are in for our most competitive season yet. Aussies love a dark horse, and now we have five.”

Gfinity Elite Series Australia Season 2 will take place at the Hoyts Gfinity Esports Arena in the Sydney’s Moore Park Entertainment Quarter. Tickets will soon go on sale here, and action will also be livestreamed on Twitch.
