Fortnite Winter Royale to offer $1 million in prizes

The Fortnite Winter Royale Online tournament will offer up $1 million in prizes to those in North America and Europe.

This huge tournament comes after the introduction of the game’s new online tournament system.

Players can qualify for its big prize over 24 and 25 November; regional finals will take commence from 30 November (Europe) and 11 December (North America). Sadly, Aussies miss out.

“While this tournament will be restricted to NA and EU, we’re planning on holding other region-specific tournaments in additional regions in the near future,” Epic Games advised.

Epic also advised that smaller “Pop-Up Cups” tournaments will run ahead of time to prepare for the big event.

Fortnite is available on Windows PC, Xbox One, PS4, Switch, iOS and Android devices.
