DreamHack Melbourne announced; tickets on sale later this week

Get hype!

DreamHack Melbourne has been announced, the first DreamHack event to take place in the Victorian capital. What’s more, tickets for the Esports festival will go on sale from Thursday.

The event itself will run over 2-4 September at the Melbourne & Olympic Parks, featuring a BYOC LAN tournament in Tennis HQ, multiple esports finals including the LCO – League of Legends Circuit Oceania finals and Halo Championship Series, ESL Challenger #50 CS:GO, and a number of additional video and tabletop gaming activities.

“We can’t wait to showcase everything DreamHack has to offer to our Australian community – to be able to bring this storied festival to life in Melbourne for the first time later this year is a unique opportunity,” said ESL Australia’s Brad Baldwin.

Tickets for the event will go on sale from 10.00 am AEST on Thursday 7 April, via Ticketek. Both day and festival passes will be on offer, with pricing ranging between $50 to $155 AUD. Children 6 or under can attend the event for free, provided they’re with a parent or guardian with a valid ticket.

We’ll have more on DreamHack Melbourne as it’s made available.
