Epic Games to open studio in Australia and New Zealand

Epic Games will soon open a studio in Australia and New Zealand to be run by former former Game Developers Association of Australia (GDAA) CEO, Tony Reed.

Reed announced both his resignation from the GDAA and the opening of the new Epic Games studio during the closing ceremony of Game Connect Asia Pacific. He didn’t give much information about the new studio, but said that “there’s going to be a lot of news” coming soon.

We’ll have more on Epic Games Australia and New Zealand as it’s available.

Epic’s latest game is the hugely popular Fortnite — if you’re wanting some Halloween hijinks, a special holiday-themed event is now on in-game.

Fortnite is currently available on Windows PC, Xbox One, PS4, Switch, iOS and Android.
