EB Games Australia to refuse PS3, Xbox 360 trade ins from February

EB Games Australia will refuse a variety of trade in items including PS3 and Xbox 360 games and consoles from February, the retailer recently advised.

From 2 February 2020, EB Games will no longer accept the following items:

  • PS3 games and consoles
  • Xbox 360 games and consoles
  • Wii games and consoles
  • Wii U games and consoles
  • DS games and consoles
  • PS Vita games and consoles
  • Skylanders games or accessories
  • Disney Infinity games or accessories

It’s likely the retailer will begin to phase out the above items from sale in anticipation of next-gen consoles and games coming near the end of the year. The news also comes as EB Games Australia has confirmed it is downsizing, closing 19 stores across Australia.
