EA has pulled its FIFA catalog from digital storefronts

Long live EA Sports FC?

EA has pulled its FIFA back catalog from digital storefronts on the eve of its next big football franchise, EA Sports FC.

On the Microsoft StoreFIFA titles are searchable but are listed as “currently unavailable”, while the situation is even more clear over on Steam.

“At the request of the publisher, EA Sports FIFA 23 is unlisted on the Steam store and will not appear in search,” a listing reads.

There’s a small caveat, though — because EA Sports FIFA 22 and FIFA 23 are part of EA Play, those titles are still playable to subscribers (alongside those on Xbox Game Pass Ultimate).

EA and FIFA split back in May 2022, with EA Sports announcing it would launch EA Sports FC instead.

EA Sports FC 24 is planned for a 29 September release on Windows PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, PS4, PS5 and Switch.
