Driveclub’s PlayStation Plus version will release alongside the full retail edition

After confirming Driveclub‘s new release date, Sony also confirmed that Driveclub PlayStation Plus Edition will launch at the same time.

The PlayStation Plus Edition of the game is a slightly stripped-down, free version of the game for those that hold a subscription to PlayStation Plus.

“PlayStation Plus subscribers will be able to download Driveclub PlayStation Plus Edition at no extra charge on launch day,”  a Sony spokesperson confirmed with Eurogamer.

Driveclub will be available on PS4 from 7 October in North America and 8 October in Australia, New Zealand and Europe.
