Dragon Ball Z for Kinect confirmed by Namco Bandai

DBZ fans AND people who like to flail, rejoice! Namco Bandai has just made your day with their official announcement of Dragon Ball Z for Kinect.

Players will get to play as one of 50 DBZ characters, and perform real DBZ-style moves using the Kinect peripheral.

Addtionally, gamers will be able to unlock extra characters by scanning QR codes with their Kinect sensors (a la Kinectimals!).

DBZ for Kinect is being developed by Spike Chunsoft, and will offer a “Story Mode” and a “Score Attack” mode. Look for it in October 2012.
