Doom Eternal Horde Mode available thanks to update 6.66

Get it?

Doom Eternal Horde Mode is now available in-game thanks to its update 6.66.

Horde Mode, two new Master Levels and “a refined Battlemode 2.0 experience” make up most of the update, with the former seen in a new trailer below.

Horde Mode will pit players against waves of demons; success means additional weapons and upgrades to continue on. Those who can best the baddies will also be able to unlock new skins and compete on leaderboards for the highest score.

The game’s two new Master Levels requires the Ancient Gods Part 2 DLC.

Doom Eternal is now available on Windows PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, PS4, PS5 and Switch. We reviewed the base game here.
