Doom 4K update available on Xbox One X, PS4 Pro today

Doom gets a 4K update on both Xbox One X and PS4 Pro from today, Bethesda has confirmed.

“Thanks to a brand-new game update arriving on March 29, id is pushing the game’s graphics even further with the release of a new 4K resolution update,” Bethesda wrote on a reveal trailer. “At long last, you’ll be able to witness the power of the DOOM Slayer in stunning 4K on both PlayStation 4 Pro and Xbox One X platforms.”

Looks like there’s no HDR support, nor 4K upscaling support for Xbox One S, as part of the deal. Still, those with appropriate consoles can experience 4K skull-crushing from right about now. Enjoy!

Doom is available on Windows PC, Xbox One, PS4 and Switch.
