DJ Three Dog won’t be making an appearance in Fallout 4

The voice actor of Fallout 3’s popular DJ, Three Dog, says it’s unlikely the character will return in Fallout 4.

Erik Todd Dellums, who had previously teased we’d see Three Dog again, took to Twitter to express his disappointment over a lack of inclusion in Bethesda’s upcoming title.

“I admit, the finality of this tweet felt like a gut punch,” Dellums began, quoting a Bethesda tweet confirming voice recording for Fallout 4 had wrapped. “Sad to not be included. Best with the game.

“The bottom line: Fallout fans are the best. Wanted to be a part of Fallout 4 for them. Love their energy, loyalty and kindness. Fun fact: I auditioned for no less than 7 roles in Fallout 3. Can only wonder why no audition for #4? Bewildered.

“I pray my tweets didn’t do irreparable damage to my relationship with [Bethesda]. That would be a shame. At this point, I’m just going to await the game. Should [Bethesda] ever need my voice, I’m reachable.”

Fallout 4 will be available on Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4 in November.
