Division 2 PC Technical Test to take place before open beta

A special The Division 2 PC Technical Test will take place before an open beta that runs across both PC and consoles later this month.

The PC Technical Test will start on 21 February and run until 22 February. Specific times have yet to be set. Content will be almost identical to that offered during the game’s private beta, though Conflict, endgame and photo mode will not be available.

“Our goal with this Technical Test is to assess a certain amount of fixes we implemented based on your feedback following the Private Beta,” Ubisoft said on Reddit. “This will help ensure that your Open Beta experience will be as smooth as possible.”

The Technical Test will only be open to select players; those curious to see if they’ve been chosen can head to their email inbox to look for an invite. Pre-orders are not guaranteed access, Ubisoft stressed, adding that invites were “distributed at random to ensure a wide range of participants.”

The Division 2 will offer an open beta from 1 March; the game heads to Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4 from 15 March.
