Sea of Thieves has a literal day one patch

Sea of Thieves day one patch is a literal day one patch. Fitting for a pirate, eh?

Those who wish to wear what will surely be the game’s ultimate pun can pick up the patch, fully equipped with a number 1, can do so inside the General Clothing Shop for the low, low cost of just one gold coin. We found our first shop right on the beach at the very first Pirate Hub we loaded in to.

The patch was first suggested by Reddit user Jefabell — clever idea, pirate!

There’s no additional download required for this patch, thankfully — which means the download sizes that we posted across Xbox One, Xbox One S, Xbox One X and Windows PC are still accurate.

Have you jumped into Sea of Thieves yet? Don’t forget that Aussies can win a personalised sea shanty over this weekend!
