Resident Evil 2 mod offers up a thicc Mr X

A new Resident Evil 2 mod gives players the chance to battle a thicc, speedo-clad Mr X, and it’s delightful.

The mod, made by misterhecks and titled “Beachboy X”, does away with the Tyrant’s iconic trench coat and hat and replaces it with flip-flops, a speedo emblazoned with an Umbrella logo and matching aviators. You know, perfect attire to chase people around the RPD and absolutely destroy them.

Resident Evil 2 is available now on Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4. The mod above will only work on PC, making us kind of upset we play on Xbox One. Thicc Mr. X or not, we rate Capcom’s remaster very highly.
