Fallout 76: Here’s what happens when you launch a nuke at a fissure

We’ve seen a nuke go off in Fallout 76‘s beta, but we’ve never seen what happens when one’s launched at an enemy-riddled fissure site.

We certainly do now.

Thanks to YouTuber Nickaroo93, we’ve learned that a nuke launched at a fissure site will bring about the literal apocalypse, including an event that features a level 95 Scorchbeast Queen, surrounded by high-level Deathclaws and the like.

Check it out — it’s scary stuff.

If you’d rather avoid this crazy event but still want to launch a nuke, Nickaroo93 has a video to help you achieve that. To avoid crazy enemies, try launching at a relatively remote location (ie if you aim for a town, be prepared for a bunch of nuclear-powered baddies).

A video tutorial on how to launch a nuke is below.

Fallout 76 is available now on Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4. We’re currently reviewing the game now.
