Disney films, TV have been removed from Stan

Disney films and TV shows were removed from streaming service Stan over the last week in preparation for the launch of Disney+ tomorrow.

As reported by TV Blackbox, all Disney-owned films and movies were removed from Stan on 16 November. Moreover, the dedicated Disney Movies channel on Foxtel has been removed, though channels including Disney and Disney Jnr will remain on the service “until at least the end of summer.”

Disney+ kicks off in Australia tomorrow, 19 November. Priced at $8.99 AUD per month or $89.99 AUD per year, the streaming service provides access to myriad content from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic and more — a full list of shows and films can be found here.
