Disintegration multiplayer will be shut down in November

Disintegration multiplayer will be shut down in mid-November, Private Division and V1 Interactive have declared.

“We have made the difficult decision to remove Disintegration’s multiplayer modes from the game across all platforms,” an update reads. “This will be done in phases over the coming months, starting today with the removal of the in-game store, and will conclude on November 17th with the full removal of multiplayer. The single-player campaign will remain fully playable moving forward.”

We actually enjoyed the game’s multiplayer more than its single-player campaign, going as far in review to say that “multiplayer is Disintegration‘s saving grace, a competant offering that allows for some enjoyment when single-player feels like a letdown.” Make of that what you will.

Disintegration is currently available on Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4.
