Dino Crisis can’t be purchased, locked behind PlayStation Deluxe

And fans aren't happy.

Dino Crisis fans are up in arms as the PSone classic is available on PS4 and PS5 but locked behind a PlayStation Deluxe (or Premium) subscription.

Fans argue that they should be able to buy the title outright rather than playing for what can amount to be a pricey sub.

“Having 2 games locked on the 160 dollar a year tier and can easily be sold for 10 dollars each is insane,” wrote one player, also referencing availability of Capcom’s Resident Evil Director’s Cut.

“$160 just to lose it if you drop the sub,” wrote another. “Hard pass.”

“Very frustrating as I have owned both those digitally for… 15(?) years on PS3,” wrote another. “Yes, I can play them there but I’d probably pay 7-10 bucks each to not have to bother with my PS3 at the moment.”

“They’ll use it as an excuse,” lamented another. “‘Well no one was buying Dino Crisis… so no remake for you’.”

We’ll let you know if the situation changes and Dino Crisis becomes available as an outright purchase on PS4 and PS5.
