Digitial copies of Halo 5’s Collector’s Edition can be traded in for physical ones

The Halo 5: Guardians‘ Collector’s Edition sounds pretty sweet… right up, for some, until you get to the part where the actual copy of the game is a digital rather than physical one.

That changes today, as developer 343 has taken to the Halo Waypoint blog to confirm that consumers will be able to trade the Edition’s digital code for a physical copy of the game.

The deal doesn’t appear to be US-only, though we’re checking in with EB Games Australia now to confirm. If you’ve already asked and know for sure, let us know, eh?
