Diablo 4 wants you to impress Buffy in order to win big

'Cause she's a Vampire Slayer... get it?

Diablo 4 has teamed up with Buffy herself, Sarah Michelle Gellar, in order to promote its latest, vampire-filled season.

In promotion of Diablo 4‘s Season of Blood, players are encouraged to “show off their skills and prove their worth by submitting clips that demonstrate their hunting ability against the forces of darkness,” Activision Blizzard said in a press release.

“Whether it’s the clever use of garlic or other unconventional talents, true Vampire Hunters are encouraged to get creative in their vampire hunting auditions,” the release continued. “All have the potential to be hunters, but there can only be the Chosen Three, who will be personally selected by Gellar.”

Australians can enter the contest (full details here) until 6.00 am AEDT on 3 November to do so. If you’re keen, submit your clip using the #DiabloHunters hashtag on Instagram, TikTok or Twitter.

“I know firsthand the strength it requires to stand against the supernatural,” said Sarah Michelle Gellar.

“Now, together with Diablo IV, we are encouraging you to showcase your imagination and embrace the weird this spooky season,” Gellar added. “Your auditions could be the turning point we’re looking for in our fight against safeguarding humanity. I can’t wait to see your unique spirit shine through in your submissions and be part of identifying our true Hunters.”

Diablo 4 is now on Windows PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, PS4 and PS5; we reviewed it here.
