Diablo 4 Lord of Hatred expansion coming 28 April

Mark those calendars...

Diablo 4 Lord of Hatred will head to all available platforms from 28 April, Activision Blizzard detailed as part of Diablo‘s 30th anniversary celebrations.

Accordign to the publisher, the “upcoming expansion calls players back to Sanctuary to confront Mephisto’s growing influence, pairing an epic fight with the Lord of Hatred himself with major gameplay evolution.”

It will also introduce two new classes in the Warlock and Paladin, new endgame options and systems, and a new region called Skovos.

“New endgame systems give players greater control over progression and challenge. War Plans introduces customizable activity paths that allow players to shape their endgame experience, while the rare Echoing Hatred encounters push builds to their limits through escalating waves of increasingly difficult enemies,” Activision Blizzard said in a press release.

“The final showdown with Mephisto takes place in the ancient region of Skovos,” the publisher said of the new region. “New characters, quests, and monsters await players as they explore the ancient Mediterranean-inspired landscapes where humanity first emerged.”

Diablo 4 is out now on Windows PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, PS4, and PS5; we reviewed it here.
