Diablo 2 Resurrected adds Warlock class, Steam availability

Happy 30th anniversary, Diablo!

Diablo 2 Resurrected has added the Warlock class alongside new availability on Windows PC via Steam. The big news comes as Activision Blizzard celebrates Diablo‘s 30th anniversary.

Blizzard describes the new Warlock as, “a class whose power is forged in the fires of Hell, that is focused on demon summoning, binding and transformation to dominate the battlefield.” The new class comes as part of a Reign of the Warlock update, which also includes a new endgame challenge and quality of life updates.

“Earn consumables and choose which acts are Terrorized, cranking up difficulty and rewards to their peak. Conquering Terrorized Act bosses in Hell difficulty may unveil one of five mystical statues,” Blizzard said of said endgame challenge. “Combine them to unlock a punishing new boss battle, the Colossal Ancients, designed to push your skills and builds to the next level.”

Quality of life adjustments include loot filters, advanced stash tabs, and a Chronicle system that tracks “your treasure-hunting legacy and gain new rewards after completion.”

Diablo 2 Resurrected is currently available on Windows PC via Microsoft Store, Battle.net and now Steam, alongside Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, PS4, PS5, and Switch.
