Devil May Cry’s story so far detailed in new trailer

Update: We’ve also included a video from the game’s main menu. It runs a little longer than the original and provides more detail. Enjoy!

Original story: Devil May Cry‘s story so far has been detailed in a new trailer ahead of the launch of Devil May Cry 5 later this week.

You’ll need to pay attention — while the trailer uses footage from past Devil May Cry games, the narrative is all handled by subtitles overlaid against the action. Still, the trailer comes in at just over two minutes and does a tremendous job of detailing the events of Devil May Cry, Devil May Cry 2, Devil May Cry 3 and Devil May Cry 4.

If you’re across all of the above titles, what vital information do you think players need to know before starting Devil May Cry 5? Sound off in the comments area below or on social media.

Devil May Cry 5 heads to Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4 on 8 March.
