Destiny 2’s matchmaking just got a whole lot easier thanks to Clans and Guided Games

Destiny 2 players are going to find it far easier to find groups to Raid with in-game thanks to Clans and Guided Games.

Destiny 2 really tries to say, ‘you belong’,” said Bungie’s Steve Dolan after admitting that players’ biggest criticism of the original title was the difficulty in finding five other friends to play endgame activities with consistently.

Clans are the first in-game tool to help change that. They’re groups that you can join to play the game together, and have progression and rewards attached to them.

Clans will gain access to a number of tools, including a roster and other things “you need to build your Fireteam,” Bungie said.

Solo players can use Guided Games to seek out Clans — think of it as LFG without needing to go to an external website.

Destiny 2 heads to Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4 this September.
