Destiny 2 Solstice of Heroes 2020 kicks off next week

The Destiny 2 Solstice of Heroes 2020 event is set to kick off next week, 11 August.

Running until 8 September, the yearly event means Eva Levante will return to Tower as part of a celebration of all things Guardian. The event’s big draw card — as always — is the ability to earn new, shiny Solstice of Heroes armour pieces that are largely earned through a timed event in the European Aerial one (EAZ). This year, Tess Eververse will also happily sell you new Universal Ornaments that also make your regular Legendary armour glow like the special event pieces.

The event will unlock the ability to earn two new Triumps — helpful for those chasing down the Moments of Triumph event rewards — alongside a new quest from Eva called “The Solstice Begins” that unlocks a Solstice of Heroes music track.

Destiny 2 is currently available on Windows PC, Xbox One, PS4 and Stadia where available; a release on Xbox Series X and PS5 will follow near the end of the year.
