Destiny 2 Shadowkeep Australian downtime, launch times detailed

Destiny 2 Shadowkeep is fast approaching and we’ve got all the details you need regarding Australian timings for both downtime and the content’s launch.

Here’s what to expect and when.

Destiny 2 Shadowkeep Australian downtime

Destiny 2 will be taken offline for 24 hours from 3.00 am AEST on Tuesday, 1 October in order for Bungie to prepare for Shadowkeep‘s arrival. During that 24 hour period, Destiny 2 will not be playable.

That time corresponds to 1.00 pm EST on 30 September to 1.00 pm EST on 1 October for our friends over in North America.

As soon as the downtime begins, users can pre-load Shadowkeep. So, by the time you’re reading this update, you can do just that if you’ve pre-ordered the game. Enjoy!

Destiny 2 Shadowkeep Australian launch time

Shadowkeep will go live at the game’s normal weekly reset time, which is 3.00 am AEST on Wednesday, 2 October.

Keep in mind that we’ll have Daylight Savings Time changeover the following weekend, so the next weekly reset will take place at 4.00 am AEST on 8 October.

Destiny 2 Shadowkeep heads to Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4 in a little more than a day form the time of writing. Get excited!
