Destiny 2 Iron Banner 6v6 delayed over Anteater errors

Destiny 2 Iron Banner 6v6 action has been postponed over the in-game errors it causes.

Originally scheduled for this week, the mode will be replaced by Rumble until a fix can be found.

“Due to a late-breaking issue that’s been discovered through internal testing, Iron Banner 6v6 is being postponed,” Bungie advised in an update.

“We’ve found that all players in 6v6 matches are returned to Orbit with ANTEATER errors when reaching certain score and timer conditions. We are actively working on a fix for this issue, but will not be able to release this by April 10.”

Bungie finished off the update by apologising for the error and insisting that “Iron Banner will return as soon as we can issue a fix.”

Were you looking forwards to a return to 6v6 play, rather than 4v4, inside Destiny 2?

Destiny 2 is available now on Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4.
