Destiny 2 Forsaken Raid beaten in 19 hours; new Strike unlocked

It took 18 hours and 48 minutes for Clan Redeem to become the first team to complete Destiny 2 Forsaken‘s Raid, Last Wish.

The herculean effort earns Clan Redeem special bonuses and a very special emblem reserved for those who’ve completed the Raid within its first 24 hours. Sadly, a team captained by Destiny fan Datto finished a couple minutes over the 24 hour mark (!) and don’t get that particular reward.

For Redeem’s efforts, the rest of us also benefit — a new Strike called The Corrupted is now available inside the Dreaming City. It requires 500 Light, a lot less than the Raid itself (thankfully). There’s also a fancy new cutscene to watch the first time you head over to the Dreaming City.

Moreover, a new Gambit map called Cathedral of Stars is now in play as is a new Bounty from Petra Venj. Go and gobble up the new content!

A bunch of images from the newly unlocked content can be found below.

Destiny 2 Forsaken is available now on Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4.
