Destiny 2: You don’t have to pre-order the game to take part in its beta

You don’t need to pre-order Destiny 2 to take part in the game’s beta, Activision today confirmed.

Those who pre-order will receive early access to the beta, scheduled for the following times:

  • PS4: 18 July at 10.00 am PDT (19 July at 3.00 am AEST)
  • Xbox One: 19 July at 10.00 am PDT (20 July at 3.00 am AEST)

After these dates, anyone on consoles will be able to access the beta period starting at 21 July at 10.00 am PDT (or 22 July at 3.00 am AEST).

A beta is also planned for sometime in August on PC.

Destiny 2 heads to Xbox One and PS4 on 6 September, followed by Windows PC on 26 October.
