Destiny 2 Curse of Osiris pre-load, download sizes detailed

Update: Bungie has just confirmed that post-expansion maintenance will finish at 5.00 am AEDT on 6 December, so we can start playing “Curse of Osiris” then. Enjoy!

Original story: Destiny 2 Curse of Osiris pre-load and download sizes on Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4 have been detailed by Bungie.

Sadly, pre-loading is quite limited, available on the day the content will launch: 5 December. Pre-loading will be available on all three platforms from 8.00 am PST on 5 December (or 3.00 am AEDT on 6 December for us Aussies).

The content will go live later that day — 5 December in America or 6 December here in Australia — though Bungie’s not detailing exactly when. Considering the game’s reset time changes to 3.00 am AEDT that same day, maybe we’ll be lucky and get instant access to the content.

As for the size of the expansion pack on each platform, we’ve got you covered below:

  • Windows PC: 68GB
  • Xbox One: 44GB
  • PS4: 88GB

There you have it.

Destiny 2‘s Curse of Osiris expansion goes live on 6 December here in Australia. It offers up a bunch of new content, new storyline, a Raid Lair and Power level cap increase. The game is available on Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4.
