Death Stranding 2 SXSW livestream coming 10 March

Get hype!

A “special panel” Death Stranding 2 livestream will take place at SXSW on 10 March here in Australia, featuring creator Hideo Kojima.

The livestream, produced in collaboration with PlayStation, “will share new details about Death Stranding 2 On the Beach,” Kojima Productions confirmed in a press release.

The stream will kick off at 8.00 am AEDT on 10 March (check your own timezone here), which corresponds to 4.00 pm CDT on 9 March in SXSW’s hometown of Austin, Texas.

Kojima Productions will also “host an exclusive pop-up shop at SXSW which will feature the latest Death Stranding 2… merchandise, as well as exclusive items that will be available only at SXSW”.

More information on the events will follow in the lead-up to SXSW. A PlayStation State of Play will take place later this morning; because of this panel, it’s unclear if we’ll hear more about the sequel today.

Death Stranding 2 is expected to release sometime in 2025 and will star Norman Reedus, Léa Seydoux, Troy Baker, Shioli Kutsuna, and others.
