Dead Rising 4 is a timed exclusive on Windows 10, Xbox One

Microsoft has confirmed to Gamespot that Dead Rising 4 will be a timed exclusive on Windows 10 and Xbox One.

The Windows 10 PC exclusivity period lasts 90 days, while the Xbox One console exclusive runs for a full year. After those periods, the game may appear on other platforms such as Steam and PS4.

“We’ve had a close and longstanding relationship with Capcom including the launch of Dead Rising as an Xbox 360 exclusive and Dead Rising 3 as an Xbox One exclusive,” Microsoft said in the statement. “We’re thrilled to partner with Capcom once again to help bring their ambitious vision for Dead Rising 4 to life.”

Dead Rising 4 heads to Windows 10 and Xbox One in December this year.
