D4 available on Xbox One from right now

At TGS, it was confirmed that D4, the next game from Deadly Premonition‘s Swery65, heads to Xbox One on 19 September. Hey, that’s today!

The title is touted as a mystery game, and was formerly Kinect-only before controller support was added in. That’s a good thing, because our limited time with D4 at E3 suggested the game was far too difficult to control solely using Kinect.

That said, our time with the game was admittedly brief; our very own Brad Stephenson got to spend some proper quality time with the title at TGS, so expect his thoughts soon. Actually, in about a half an hour.

The game is priced at $14.95 USD… and since we’ve got American pricing details, we’d say the release date is American too. That means interested parties should be checking the Xbox Games Store later tonight now.
