These custom PS5 faceplates will set you back $60 AUD

A website called PlateStation is offering up a series of custom PS5 faceplates for (or around) launch, priced at approximately $60 AUD including shipping.

The site is offering a host of different colours, each priced at $39.99 USD. The service offers free worldwide shipping, so your order would likely set you back around $55-60 AUD all up.

Colours are as follows:

  • Cherry Red
  • Chromatic
  • Indigo Blue
  • Jungle Camo
  • v1 Matte Black (Limited Edition)

As part of a recent PS5 teardown video, we learned that the console’s white faceplates could easily be removed. We thought it was only a matter of time before custom plates were offered up… and how right we were.

The service is relatively new and doesn’t have a lot of reviews or feedback as yet (obviously) — so if you’re interested in the service, you might be better off holding off for a little while to see how it all goes.

The PS5 heads to store shelves on 12 November.
