Cuphead PS4 announcement made overnight; available now

Update 2: It’s official — Cuphead is now available on PS4. Like, right now. The announcement overnight coincided with the game’s actual availability.

No word yet on the Delicious Last Course DLC.

Original story: Cuphead PS4 announcement seems to be looming on the horizon thanks to a tweet from Wario64.

The Twitter user first posted an image of a Cuphead title appearing on PS4 UI; the tile in question doesn’t actually take a user anywhere at present. It’s likely the tile will eventually connect to a PlayStation Store listing.

At the same time, it’s been announced that Geoff Keighley has “a special update from one of our favorite indie game studios” that will be revealed at 1 am AEST tonight. While decidedly not confirmed, the timing’s pretty suspect.

Will the announcement be from Studio MDHR in regards to Cuphead on PS4? Time will tell. We’ll keep you posted as we learn more.

Update 1: The news could also be referencing Cuphead‘s Delicious Last Course DLC on currently established platforms; the Xbox website says the DLC is “available now”.

Cuphead is currently available on Windows PC, Xbox One, Switch and… Tesla?
