The Crew 2 free-to-play this weekend, starting today

The Crew 2 goes free-to-play this weekend, Ubisoft has confirmed.

Free play (and pre-load, if applicable) starts at the following times across Windows PC via Uplay, PS4 and Xbox One:

PC (UPlay)

  • Preload starts 4.00 am AEDT 13 December
  • Free play between 7.00 pm AEDT 13 December to 11.00 am AEDT 17 December

PS4

  • Free play between 11.00 am AEDT 13 December to 7.00 pm AEDT 17 December

Xbox One

  • Free play between 7.00 pm AEDT 13 December to 4.00 am AEDT 18 December
  • Xbox Live Gold subscription required for free play

The entire game will be on offer, including PvP. Progression will continue over into the full game should you wish to purchase it. The Crew 2 will be on sale for 67% off during this time, and the games’ Season Pass will be discounted by 30% until 20 December.

Finally, those who participate over this weekend will also be gifted a free in-game car:

  • PC: Ford GT 2005 – Touring Car Edition
  • PlayStation 4: Maserati Gran Turismo S 2009 – Touring Car Edition
  • Xbox One: BMW Z4 GT3 2011
