Concord pulled from sale after 2 weeks, refunds coming

"We have decided to take the game offline..."

Concord will be pulled from store shelves and taken offline just two weeks after the shooter’s launch, Firewalk Studios and Sony have today confirmed.

“At this time, we have decided to take the game offline… and explore options, including those that will better reach our players,” Firewalk’s Ryan Ellis said in a statement posted to the PlayStation Blog.

The Overwatch-style game hasn’t resonated with players since its launch — and potentially, since its earlier beta — and it’s believed its lack of sales has lead to this decision.

“While we determine the best path ahead, Concord sales will cease immediately and we will begin to offer a full refund for all gamers who have purchased the game for PS5 or PC,” Ellis continued. “If you purchased the game for PlayStation 5 from the PlayStation Store or PlayStation Direct, a refund will be issued back to your original payment method.”

Refunds may take up to 60 days to be processed.

Concord — a title that’s reportedly been in development for 8 years — is developed by Firewalk, which in turn was acquired by Sony back in 2023. The title will be taken offline on both PC and PS5 from 7 September here in Australia.
