Concord beta open to all PlayStation Plus subs this weekend

Time to jump in?

Concord beta, previously open to those that pre-ordered the title, will now be opened up to all PlayStation Plus subscribers this weekend.

This portion of the beta kicked off at 3.00am AEST today and will run until 3.00 am AEST on 15 July.

A proper open beta — open to all, regardless of PlayStation Plus subscription or pre-order — will be followed by an event which runs between 3.00 am AEST on 19 July to 3.00 am AEST on 22 July.

“During the Early Access and Open Beta, all 16 of our launch Freegunners will be unlocked and available to play and customize. Whether you want to snipe from afar, lock down an area, provide support for your teammates, or… just dive head-first into the fight, our roster of Freegunners has something for everyone,” developer Firewalk advised.

“It’s been a minute since we’ve checked in with the Freegunners of the North Star, so we’ll also be sharing our first Vignette during our Early Access Beta and can’t wait for you to learn more about the crew and their tidy ship.”

Those who take part in the beta will receive a weapon charm and business card for use in the main game. While progression will carry over between beta weekends, it won’t make it over into the main game.

Expect Concord on PS5 and Windows PC from 23 August.
