Carol Kane joins Star Trek Strange New Worlds Season 2

Welcome aboard, engineer.

Legendary actress Carol Kane will join Star Trek Strange New Worlds Season 2 as the Enterprise’s new chief engineer: Pelia.

Shown above, Pelia is described as “highly educated and intelligent, this engineer suffers no fools; Pelia solves problems calmly and brusquely, thanks to her many years of experience.”

Alongside the news, a new trailer focused on pilot Erica Ortegas featured as part of Star Trek Day. It’s below.

We don’t have a release date for Season 3 as yet, but we know it and Star Trek Discovery will return in 2023. We do have confirmed release dates for the second half of Prodigy‘s first season run and Star Trek Picard Season 3.

Star Trek Strange New Worlds Season 1 is currently available on Paramount+. Here in Australia, Paramount+ will set you back $8.99 AUD per month; you can sign up now and get your first week free.
