Be careful — full Resident Evil 3 playthroughs are appearing online

Full Resident Evil 3 playthroughs are making their way online, well ahead of the game’s release date.

Capcom appears to be on the matter, aggressively issuing takedown notices against the content in question, but those who wish to go into a game without spoilers should definitely take note.

Rumours suggest the copies of RE3 were distributed by a retail operation far ahead of release; we’re working to confirm those details. We’ve also asked Capcom for comment on the issue and will update this post with and replies.

In the meantime, if you’re itching for some RE3 content, don’t forget that a demo (and Resistance beta!) is available now. We can help you out with the demo here.

Resident Evil 3 and its Resident Evil: Resistance multiplayer mode head to Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4 on 3 April.
