Callisto Protocol reportedly drops “around 20” devs from credits

Across a "variety of departments".

Striking Distance Studios has reportedly left “around 20” developers out of The Callisto Protocol‘s credits, a report from Games Industry states.

The outlet says developers omitted from the game’s credits were “across a variety of departments”.

“It definitely stings,” one source told the site. “It sucks. I made a good amount of contribution and worked on it for [a length of time]. To just not be there at all is shitty.”

Another source said employees with more than one year of service to Striking Distance didn’t receive credit for their effort.

“I understand if a contractor does a small amount of work for a few months and is left off, but we’re talking full-time employees with over a year invested in the title, and had a hand in significant parts of the product,” a source said. “That’s where the surprise has come from for a lot of us.”

The title and studio have previously made headlines when it released on PC with huge stuttering issues, and when studio head Glen Schofield took to social media praising Striking Distance’s crunch culture.

The Callisto Protocol is available on Windows PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, PS4 and PS5.
