Call of Duty Black Ops 6 multiplayer beta coming September

Technically, from 31 August onward.

Call of Duty Black Ops 6 multiplayer beta will kick off on 31 August and take place over the next two weekends, Activision Blizzard and Microsoft have today declared.

“The Black Ops 6 Multiplayer Beta gives fans a hands-on experience with the incredible new Omnimovement system and other gameplay innovations across a variety of brand-new Core maps, lets them build their own loadouts, access a variety of weapons, equipment and Perks, and drop in across a number of Modes,” Activision Blizzard said in a press release.

The multiplayer beta will actually take place over two weekends. The first, between 31 August and 4 September (in Australian timings) will be open to players who’ve pre-ordered the game. Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass subscribers also also be allowed to take part.

A second multiplayer beta will then be open to all players between 7-9 September.

For the first time in years, the multiplayer beta will be open to players across PC, Xbox, and PlayStation all at the same time.

Call of Duty Black Ops 6 heads to Windows PC via Battle.net and Steam, alongside Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, PS4, and PS5 on 25 October.
