Call of Duty Warzone gets 120FPS update on Xbox Series X but not PS5

Call of Duty Warzone has received a 120FPS (frames-per-second) update on Xbox Series X but not on PS5, it’s recently been discovered.

Omitted from the free-to-play battle royale’s patch notes, Digital Foundry noticed the change and reports the game now runs at around 100-120FPS on Microsoft’s top-tier current-gen console. Previously, the title was running at 60FPS.

The outlet’s tests discovered that Warzone hasn’t received a similar update on PS5 as yet, still running at 60FPS.

We’ll let you know if Activision Blizzard comments on the update.

Call of Duty Warzone is currently available on Windows PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series S and X, PS4 and PS5.
