Call of Duty: Microsoft will refund PC players who’ve purchased via Windows Store

Microsoft has confirmed it will refund players who’ve purchased Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare from the Windows Store upon request.

The issue around Infinite Warfare and Modern Warfare Remastered is that those playing via the Windows Store will not be able to take part in multiplayer matches with those who’ve purchased the game on Steam.

Though cross-platform play between Windows Store and Steam copies is possible, Microsoft earlier confirmed, Activision hasn’t taken advantage of the feature.

Have you bought either game through the Windows Store?
