Call of Duty Black Ops 4 Switch release not planned

A Call of Duty Black Ops 4 Switch release is not planned, developer Treyarch has confirmed.

“No, there is not,” Senior Producer, Yale Miller, told Twinfinite when asked of plans for a Switch release of the upcoming title.

The question was asked after Switch placeholders were displayed at GameStop stores for a limited time, as reported by Nintendo Everything.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 has been confirmed for a 12 October release on Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4. Doing away with a single-player campaign, the title will instead focus on three major modes: traditional single-player, a battle royale mode called Blackout and good ol’ Zombies.
