Bulletstorm’s People Can Fly is assisting with Gears of War E-Day

The Coalition gets a co-op partner.

Bulletstorm‘s People Can Fly has today confirmed it will be assisting Xbox Game Studios’ The Coalition with the upcoming Gears of War E-Day.

People Can Fly also lead development on 2013’s Gears of War Judgment, and provided support on the original Gears of War trilogy, of course.

“Returning to collaborate on the next chapter of this legendary saga is both a privilege and an exciting opportunity to build upon the intense, visceral action and rich storytelling that fans have come to love. We are deeply grateful for our partners’ trust and support on this journey,” said People Can Fly head Sebastian Wojciechowski.

Gears of War E-Day is not just our next major game; it’s a return to what makes Gears of War games special and authentic,” added Coalition studio head Mike Crump. “We’re pleased to be partnering with the talented folks at People Can Fly who have been a part of our franchise’s legacy for so long.”

Gears of War E-Day was first announced last year; it’s a prequel featuring returning protagonists Marcus Fenix (John DiMiaggio) and Dom Santiago (Carlos Ferro).
